Yoga50+ with Kari Knight

Mondays 9.30am-10.45am.

One of the commonest signs of ageing is loss of muscle mass resulting in poor balance and stability, together with an increasing awareness of joint restriction and breathlessness. Yoga is a safe way to exercise, maintain muscle mass and help to keep you strong and steady as you move forward on life’s path. Yoga teaches us to be are aware of the whole body and more conscious of how we use ourselves and our breath. Yoga also builds on the body’s natural stretch reflex, an in-built mechanism that grips the core muscles to maintain balance and natural poise. Yoga for People Living With Cancer:

Mondays 11am-12.30pm

a programme of simple breathing and movement exercises, deep relaxation and meditation.

Yoga can play a significant role in the  healing process, helping those suffering from cancer to cope – and move forward.  The Atlantic Health & Spa, situated in the beautiful surroundings of the Suffolk  countryside, offers a yoga class for people living with cancer. Class includes a recorded Yoga Nidra practise to be followed at home. The course will be led by Kari Knight, an experienced British Wheel of Yoga teacher who has received specialist further training and completed the BWY-accredited module “Teaching Yoga for People Living With Cancer”, developed by the one of the leaders in this field, Julie Friedeberger.

Hatha Yoga with Juliette Baysham

Wednesday’s 7.15pm-8.15pm

Hatha Yoga aims to strengthen the body and relax the mind in a gentle and calming manner and is suitable for both the beginner and the more experienced student.

Dance Aerobics with Flo Ford

Monday’s 7pm-8pm

This 60 minute class is a great high calorie burning fun dance aerobic session. Flo’s class will give you a great all over body workout. To book in call health club reception on 01787 279009, cost is £2 for members, £4 for Non members

Legs, Bums & Tums with Flo Ford

Wednesday’s 10am-11am

This class is a great blend of toning and aerobics, it is suitable for all abilities and ages. The hour is a excellent session for toning the vital problem areas while still burning calories at the same time.
